HIGH SCHOOL: On October 17, our Gr. 10s left very, very early by bus for the all day 10Peaks Innovation Xchange Program (10PIX) at Red Deer Polytechnic. 10PIX is a free, day-long exchange for students to help them understand the vital role they can play in Alberta’s and Canada’s future.
The conference brings together various industry stake holders with students and teachers at Red Deer Polytechnic, to engage and inspire each other for the future of our province.
The track that our students are took part in is called Alternative Energy – all forms of energy creating electricity, including electricity storage and the breakout sessions they took part in are on the topics of energy storage, alternative energy impacts, the importance of youth in achieving our climate emergency goals, and Solar Sheep.
