Brent Devost is a visionary educational leader and entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to the field of education. Over the past two decades, he has played a pivotal role in starting two private schools, leaving an indelible mark on the educational landscape. As the Founder and CEO of one institution, he transformed a mere concept into a thriving educational community, pioneering innovative pedagogical approaches and cultivating a passion-based learning environment for students. In his role as the Head of School/Co-Founder at North Point, Brent has laid the foundation for unlocking personal potential, establishing a strong experiential curriculum and fostering a culture of continuous learning. With his unwavering commitment to educational innovation, and dedication to empowering young minds, Brent has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in the realm of private education.
In addition to his work in private education, Brent inspired and led the development of passion-based education programming within 2 large public school districts and First Nation in Northern Alberta. Working with teams of amazing educators who create opportunities for kids to build their skills and confidence while developing strong personal character through education, is what has driven Brent’s love for his work all these years and continues to do so today.
Brent has been involved in the sport of hockey for many years at various levels as a player, coach, leader and builder and has enjoyed watching his own children develop their love for sport, education and the performing arts.
