Steven Farkasdi

Born in Edmonton, Steven embarked on a transformative educational journey in Saskatoon, SK, where he pursued his studies at the University of Saskatchewan. In 2017, he earned a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in high school science and math. His thirst for knowledge led him to further his education, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2019 and a Master of Education in Educational Psychology in 2022. 

During his time in Saskatchewan, Steven engaged in a variety of neuroscientific research, employing EEG technology to explore the connections between our brains, music, and the phenomenon of synchronicity with others. Aside from scholarly pursuits, Steven is passionate about playing music, hockey, and spending time with his family in the mountains.

Joining North Point for the fall 2025 school year, Steven will be taking on high school science duties, ensuring an inclusive, respectful, and engaging space for students to succeed.
