Elephant Toothpaste
SCHOOL FOR BOYS: The Grade 2-5 boys enjoyed a fun science demonstration called Elephant Toothpaste with Mr. Nguyen! By mixing hydrogen peroxide, yeast, dish soap, and food colouring, they created a chemical reaction that produced lots of bubbly foam. The yeast helped release oxygen gas, which became trapped in the soap and caused the foam to grow quickly.
This experiment helped students see how chemical reactions work and showed that science can be exciting and hands-on!
